Family Member Arrested for Attempted Murder

Late Friday night, June 13th, found what appears to be an on-going family dispute take a turn for the worse in the 700 blk of South First Avenue. During a graduation party, an estranged uncle gathers the family together in a room and makes a threatening comment. The male adult pulls a loaded revolver from his jacket pocket but is immediately subdued by family members. The uncle had numerous additional rounds of ammunition for the weapon on his person as well. APD was called and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
