Officer Wayne Moore taking a call for service during his shift. Unknown date of photo, however, it was mounted in 1969. If you can help with information on Officer Moore or this time period, please leave a note in the comments.
The shotgun mounted in the unit was the staple carried in the vehicles for many years. Rifles have taken the place of the shotgun now. Today's APD patrol shotguns have been fitted with colored stocks to indicate the use of "less lethal" rounds such as the bean bag round.
