APOA Seeks Change of Venue

After 540 posts on the Arcadia Police Officers' Association Info Blog, our current Board of Directors has opted for a change of venue in the social media world. The APOA will focus on timely news updates via the Association website and plans on furthering our community engagement by use of a new APOA Facebook page. APOA President, Officer John Jurman, will take the lead in administering the Association's presence on the Internet.

As we say farewell to the Association Blog, thank you to all who have engaged with us and help the APOA build their web presence!

Don't forget to visit the official pages for the Arcadia Police Department. APD still hosts a Blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Nixle accounts. Links to the official APD presence can be found on the Public Information and Resources page of the APD website.

Ever notice how alll fire departments are primarily white? Ocassional token non-white here or there, but it seems obvious they reserve these soft easy money spots for those who fit their ideal for their "fraternity".
And the pay/benefit package!!! This is an industry which needs privitization, let alone austerity.
If not for that family those three men would still be alive.
How many have to die? If another loses his life will this stop?
Given all the rope they need.
