Children of CHP Officer Receive Scholarships

In December of 2008, California Highway Patrol Officer Joseph Sanders was struck and killed in a collision while on-duty. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that his children recently received $30,000 in bonds toward college scholarships. The bonds were donated by the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation. This is a great tribute to the family and in memory of Officer Sanders.
